Redesigned packaging for INTU FR WRAP, INTU FR COLLAR and INTU FR WRAP L

2026-09-25

At ALFASEAL GROUP, we take your feedback seriously. Every carton that leaves our factory passes through your hands — installers unpacking on site, distributors managing shelf space, warehouse teams stacking pallets. Over the past months, you have been telling us what works and what could work better. This round of packaging updates is the direct result.

Three products are getting a new packaging: INTU FR WRAP, INTU FR COLLAR and INTU FR WRAP L. The products inside are unchanged — same certified performance, same ETAs, same fire resistance up to EI 240. What is changing is how they reach you.

New packaging for INTU FR WRAP L

INTU FR WRAP L — the intumescent pipe wrap supplied in rolls (60 mm and 100 mm width, 10 m and 25 m length, with or without adhesive tape) — is also moving to redesigned packaging.

The new format was shaped by two things you told us most often:

  1. The tape needs to reach the installer intact. Previously, INTU FR WRAP L rolls were shipped in two universal box sizes covering the whole range — which meant a lot of empty space, air being carted around, and the roll shifting inside the box in transit. The new packaging replaces that with four dedicated box sizes, each engineered to fit one of the four roll dimensions (60 mm × 10 m, 60 mm × 25 m, 100 mm × 10 m, 100 mm × 25 m). Every roll — standard or self-adhesive (TS) — now sits snugly in its own box, protecting the graphite-based tape during transport and on site, and keeping the roll clean and ready to cut.
  2. Less air on the truck, less cardboard per roll. Fitting each roll to a purpose-designed box means we stop shipping empty space between the roll and the box walls. Pallets are packed more tightly, transport is more efficient, and the amount of paperboard used per unit goes down — a small but real step in the direction the whole industry is moving with the upcoming EU packaging regulation (PPWR).

As with the master cartons, the product itself is unchanged — same INTU FR WRAP L, same ETA-18/0593, same fire resistance up to EI 240, same installation method for service penetrations in flexible walls, rigid walls and rigid floors.

We will keep listening. If there is something else about our packaging or logistics that could be better on your side, tell us — that is exactly how this update started.

New master cartons for INTU FR WRAP and INTU FR COLLAR

INTU FR WRAP and INTU FR COLLAR are delivered in new master cartons — the outer boxes that hold multiple pieces per SKU:

The new master cartons for INTU FR WRAP and INTU FR COLLAR were designed around one simple idea: fit the product properly. By matching the box to what goes inside, we keep transport costs down for our customers and keep the product safer in transit — from our factory all the way to the penetration.
