Adequate acoustic insulation is crucial during the use of buildings. Buildings and their location should be designed and constructed to limit noise levels to which occupants or people in their vicinity are exposed. The acoustic parameters of building materials are also important for buildings with special acoustic insulation requirements, such as philharmonic halls, concert halls, recording studios, opera houses, theaters, cinemas, and music schools.
Our products are used to seal installation penetrations. Classified as fire stopping and fireproof sealing products, they are subject to measurements of the acoustic insulation of building elements in accordance with the EN ISO 10140-1:2021-10 standard, Laboratory measurement of sound insulation of building elements – Part 2: Measurement of airborne sound insulation.
